Ooooh! I don't have anything by A Muse yet, but I would LOVE to! :)

My favorite memory was probably the year we had no costume ready and it was the night of our school costume party. My mom wrapped me in tin foil from head to toe, made a sword out of cardboard, and gave me a round pizza pan to hold. She said I was Joan of Ark. I won most creative costume that year! I can't believe I let my mom do that to me! LOL!

Hey Kristina! I love your blog for free, but blog candy always makes (stamping) life sweeter!

My favorite Halloween memory would be when we dressed up my then 11 month old as a monkey! All night long I kept calling him 'Chunky Monkey'.

My favorite Halloween memory was when our son started 1st grade and each day he left for school I took out the Dragon costume I was making for him. The tail was probably as long as he was tall!!! The scales took the longet to make, there were about 40 of them going down each side of the spine and two had to match up with each other all the way down. And the inside of them was this silky material that liked to slip when you sewed it. I got it done in time for Halloween and when the time came I brought it out and he was SO thrilled!! He just loved it! I still smile when I remember the look on his face. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Well, my birthday is on Halloween, and I don't have a lot of great memories of Halloween from when I was a kid, because all my friends could hardly wait to leave my birthday party to go trick or treating instead! But, when I had my own children, I had a lot of fun taking them trick or treating. When my daughter was 8 months old I dressed her up in the Raggedy Anne clothes from my doll...she was adorable! Thanks for this chance to win sweet candy!

Pick me! Pick me! I don't have a A Muse products yet. I just love all the cards that I have seen and maybe one day I will be able to make one. I have some on my wishlist, but it is long and the money runs out.
My favorite halloween memories is when my dad would play the scary music and dress up and hide by the side of the house. When the kids would come ring the door bell he would run out and scare them. Sometimes we would have to chase them to give them their candy. They must of like it, cuz they kept coming back each year.
Thanks for a chance at your sweet sweet candy.

My favorite memories of Hallowe'en are trick or treating with both my parents. It ALWAYS rained on Hallowe'en where I grew up. Of course it was the good old pillow case to collect the candy and those silly plastic costumes with the plastic faces with the elastic string and barely an airhole to breathe and small eyeholes so you could barely see where you were going. Mom always made me wear my big boots because I would always walk in the puddles along the curb. The funniest is the condensation build up in the mask of my costume. If I remember correctly, it was bugs bunny. LOL. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.....and the chance to win some awesome candy!

I didn't think about it at the time, but I saw this cute lady bug costume. My son was still young, like 4 or 5 years old, so I don't think it did too much damage. I made my son wear a lady bug costume. He didn't complain, but probably would now that he is 21. I haven't applied for some blog candy, because I will be out of town. However, I get back just in time for the ending of yours! Thanks for the chance! I have given away blog candy, but have never won, yet!

Taking my 3 kids trick or treating on a cold Halloween night. We made costumes out of boxes with aluminum foil and called them robots so we could put them over the heavy winter coats. We only made it a block and half and came home!

Thanks for the chance at some awesome blog candy!! My favorite memory of Halloween has to come from being a kid and going to the haunted houses. We would scare each other before we even got into the haunted house and then scream all the way through and laugh our heads off when we got out! Ah...being young again! :) I think I would probably just roll my eyes if I went through one today. I still love Halloween though!

Awesome goodies!! My fav. Halloween was when I was 5 years old and my dad (he's an inventor) made my costume. I was a 1970's TV! It was so heavy and bulky that I could barely walk and I couldn't sit down in it. Though I was mad at the time it sure makes for great memories now!
thanks!

Trick-or-treating as a princess with a plastic princess mask. (Those things make you sweaty!). My friend and I each filled a HUGE bucket with all the candy we got, but she had to go home early. My older brother was still out and about so I grabbed an old sheet, cut some eye holes and hit the streets and got twice the loot.

I would love a chance at this. I was just reading about this mist on another blog last week.

My favorite memories are of the boys carving their pumpkins. They took this task very seriously. And then the look of wonder on their faces as we lit them with a candle at night.

Great blog candy offering!

One of my favorite Halloween memories is from just a few years ago....my dad covered a birdhouse on a pole with a white sheet to make it look like a ghost. He then put a CB radio receiver in and and watched from inside his house for kids coming. He had another CB in the house and made ghost noises and did his evil laugh whenever kids came up the sidewalk. Some of them got the funniest looks on their faces and couldn't decide whether or not to chance going up to the door. He got such a kick out of it. My kids thought it was great!

My favorite memory is Trick or Treating with my niece one year...we went to this house that had all the decorations imaginable.
It was so scarry,as I walked her up the driveway there was a body sitting in a chair which i thought it was just a dummy cause it looked fake...well as i walked by he screamed and grabbed my arm...OMG!!! I yelled so loud I think the whole block heard me. And my niece started crying and she no longer wanted to trick or treat...poor girl,I scared the crap in her!!Thnks at the chance of your treat!!

I just remember the fun times trick or treating as kids. We almost always made our costumes, nothing fancy for us, except for maybe purchasing accessories. I think that's what made Halloween so fun -there weren't Halloween stores, everyone made their own costumes!

My favorite Halloween was in 2003. I just moved back to my hometown, and spent a day around halloween with some of my friends and their family. We spent the day decorating with pumpkins and inflatables and eating chili. I felt like I was part of a family again, which was unusual, as my husband was still 5 hours away, trying to sell our home so he could move to my hometown. Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite Halloween memory is from many years ago, when I helped out at a church Halloween party. A friend of mine had the perfect costumes, that had been made for a previous party...she went as mustard and I went as ketchup. We had a ball playing with all the kids that showed up.

My favorite Halloween was when my Mom (who was born on Halloween) went trick or treating with us. She put pantyhose over her head and went as a robber.

My Fav. Halloween memory...My Great Aunt Joy dressed up, in a plastic ensemble and long golden wig, as Lady Godiva at the RV club Halloween bash in Florida. She paraded around for hours and was constantly laughing and proclaiming "I have nothing to hide, but seek what you'd like"! That was one spooky history and anatomy lesson i'll never forget!

I have lots of Halloween memories, especially since I have children now too. But I think my most memorable from my childhood would be the year my siblings and cousins and I all went trick-or-treating. The only costumes I remember were my cousins because they were the Smurfs and mine because I was Pink Panther. The costume was great and nice and warm (we were living in Colorado at that time) but it was itchy.

My favorite Halloween memory will probably be this year. I finally came up with a great costume idea for my son. He will go as a "Cereal Killer". We'll take little mini boxes of cereal and stab them with plastic knives and then attach them to his clothes.

Hi Kristina,
Thanks for the chance on this great A Muse candy! My fave Halloween memory is when my kids were little and dressed up as MIckey and Minnie mouse. We lived in Santa Barbara at the time and it was a warm evening to be out trick or treating. My son (older) took his little sister's hand and sat her down on the steps at someone's house and asked her what candy she wanted to eat first and started to find it and open it for her....they were sooooo cute!!

A fond Halloween memory for me would just be the time & energy my mother put in to making my costumes. She is quite the seamstress & would not settle for just going & buying a costume. She always took great care in making a very cute & quality costume for me. I may not of realized the effort she put in to it then, but I can really appreciate it as an adult. Unfortunately, I do not have that same gift of being a great seamstress as she does :( Thanks for the chance Kristina! A MUSE ROCKS!!

OHHHH AAHHH that purse is ADORABLE!

My most favorite Halloween story....
My BFF & I were 10-12 years old. Trick-or-treating by ourselves. It was very dark & cold & we were walking down a non-lite sidewalk (I'm sure my mom would be proud of that -wink-). Anyway, my friend tripped on a peice of cracked sidewalk and her candy bag went flying out of her hands and up in the air as her body plunged forward. But as she was slowly falling to the ground she was also reaching for the bag of candy 'cause she did not want 1 peice to fall out. I think she turned into Inspector Gadget 'cause her arms were reaching out a lot further than they normaly should. And I swear that girl did a belly flop right on the sidewalk. Low-an-behold, she caught that bag of candy in mid-air before hitting the ground! Woohoo! And be damned...not one peice of candy fell out of that bag.
Let's just say she was bruised and sore for many many days, but to this day she say's it was "worth it".

Hi, my favourite Halloween memory has to be the first Halloween we spent when we lived in Texas. Having heard all about how you do Halloween in the US it was great to be finally experiencing it as the UK is nothing like it. Texas was still in the 80's in October and the kids had great fun walking around the neighbourhood in their costumes. The house that stood out vividly in our minds was one which had a coffin by the door and when the kids went up to ring the bell, a monster jumped out at them and frightened them to death. For us newbies to Halloween, it was terrifying and brilliant all at the same time. I miss Halloween in the US and envy you all the time you will have!

Here is a funny memory...when I was growing up, my mom made home made soft taco shells on Halloween night. We always ate them. So a couple of years ago, we were at hear house on Halloween night and I asked her to make them. And they did NOT taste as good as I remembered. My mom said that they weren't good back then either! haha. I had made them taste good in my memory! haha.

Every Halloween I looked forward to trick or treating at a man's house who worked for Wonderbread. He would give us these small 6 inch minature loaves of bread that were wrapped in the identical packaging of the large sized Wonderbreads. I used to think that was really exciting:) I LOVE AMuse - thanks for a chance to win some.

A halloween I remember is dressing up with my friend in a huge pair of striped overalls. We each had our legs in each leg of the pants they were so big and we each had a strap over our shoulder holding them up. We walked around like that all night. It was fun. I wish I knew where those overall's were now. They were huge!!!

My favorite Halloween memory is when my mom made me the cutest grey mouse costume with big pink ears. I loved having her paint my nose black with her eyeliner and giving me wiskers. The costume was adorable, i was probably about 6 years old. The tail was fun to spin around and play with. I won the costume contest at school that year. That same year she made my brothers costumes too- one of them was the Jolly Green Giant- it was so stinking cute and I made fun of him for wearing girls green tights. I remember that was also the first year I started using a pillow case to collect my candy in.

The neatest costume I have seen is one that was created by a friend of mine. He went as the Headless Horseman. Had a coat fastened so it was over his head. The neat thing was, he somehow carried dry ice in his pockets, so there was a cloud around him as he walked...so cool :)

My favorite Halloween memory is this. This particular Halloween Day was really cold (coat weather), and the kids could not show off their costumes as planned. Well in spite of bitter cold, we had a blast! After we were finished, we stopped at the coffee shop and had warm hot chocolate. The kids want to make stopping at the coffee shop part of the Halloween tradition.

Okay . . . I got a good one. About 10 years ago I wanted to take my sweet little neighbor boy on his first trick-or-treat outing . . . he was about three years old . . . quiet as a little church mouse . . . and sweet as can be. His mother said yes and went out and bought him the most darling little Eeyore costume at the Disney store complete with tail hanging off the back end so he would be ready for his first Halloween outing ever. I decided to drive him to the rich neighborhood of Edina hoping for better treats for him . . . and a safer environment . . . since it was his first year and all . . . and he was only three years old. So we are trick-or-treating in the rich neighborhood of Edina going up and down the beautiful tree lined streets with all the families that have their children with them just having a grand 'ol time. He is just having the time of his life running up to the door with the other children and saying trick-or-treat in his cute little baby voice as people at the door are ooooohing and aaaaaahing over this sweet little boy with his darling little Eeyore costume on and throwing all this great candy in his little plastic pumpkin. Well . . . my sweet little neighbor boy gets so excited about whatever little treat he was just given and comes running down the driveway to proudly show me and takes a tumble head first down the driveway spilling candy out of his little plastic pumpkin all over the place. I expected the little boy to be hurt or start crying and was getting ready to run over to him and help him up, but instead he instantly says "oh shit" in a very loud voice and jumps up to his feet and scrambles all over the driveway to hurridly pick up all his candy that he had just dropped. The entire crowd that had gathered around bust out laughing and I just stood there and said "out of the mouths of babes". We finished our first Halloween trick-or-treating outing together in grand style and I still tell him the story to this day.

one halloween i opened the door to see a couple of cute little kids on my door step. they yelled "trick or treat!" and i calmly looked down and said "trick". they just looked at me with confused faces and said "trick or treat?"... it was so cute!! but also sad that they don't even know what they are saying!! i did end up giving them little treats... :)

What a great question and even better candy! =) My favorite Halloween memory is definately beingable to go trick or treating for hours where I grew up with a bunch of the neighborhood kids and literally fill up a standard size pillow case with candy. It was always such a neat thing to get that many kids and parents together!

Mine would have to be the memories we've been creating since our kids are old enough to trick or treat. We all meet up at my folk's house. All the nieces and nephews go trick or treating together. Lots of group pics and dinner all together. :-) Usually take out pizza or home cooked chili. Depending on how cold it gets. It's all good!

I have a few -- once, I went as a belly dancer -- it was New England and there was SNOW on the ground, and I was barely clothed! I don't know HOW my folks let me go out like that!

One of the sweetest memories is coming home with the loot and sorting through it with my little sister in our pajamas... she lives far away now, and I miss her!

When my daughter was in 8th grade, Halloween fell on a Friday night so her class decided to have an overnight in the gym. The kids set up decorations and brought tents and sleeping bags. My husband & I chaperoned and helped with food. It was fun to see that things haven't changed all that much from when we were young. The boys were all afraid to ask the girls to dance and stood together on one side of the gym. The girls were on the other side giggling and daring one another to ask a boy to dance. It was a couple hours before they were dancing, but we had such a ball dancing the Monster Mash with those young teens. My daughter was dressed as a black crow and it was one of the best Halloweens we ever had with her.

Her costume was a little pink mouse, complete with big pink ears and whiskers...too cute :)

Oh, mine will come across as sounding pretty mean but it is really my best and fondest memory - when my daughter was 3 we did our garage up like a haunted science lab. My dh had a little "show" for the older kids and was trying it out on some parents, not realizing our daughter was watching. She screamed so loud and ran into the house and was NOT going to go trick or treating.

She decided that everyone should just bring treats to her so I had to call all the neighbours to come to our door with her candy or she'd have had NONE!

I grew up in the country so we had to drive from house to house to trick or treat. I remember one year we were so excited because we were going to drive into town and go with our cousins. Back then we wore the icky plastic masks. I got to be Cinderella! It ended up being a snowy year but we still had fun! We were all bundled up and wearing our snow boots and came home with a pillow case full of loot!!

My favorite Halloween memory is the great homemade costumes my mom came up with. I'll never forget the year I was a Rubik's Cube and my sister was the "Missing Link" game. Her costume was a long, tall box that was painted and decorated and every time she walked up the steps in someone's front yard, she toppled over. Our father just laughed and laughed--I don't think my sister has forgiven him yet . . .
